Spicy Sambal Shrimp

"A spicy pan-seared shrimp dish flavored with sambal oelek."

Ingredients :

  • 1 pound big frozen shrimp, tails removed
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • three cloves garlic, minced, or more to taste
  • half of lemon, juiced, divided
  • 1 half of teaspoons butter
  • three/four cup chopped onion
  • half of cup sambal oelek (Indonesian red chile paste)
  • 3 cups water
  • 3 cups sushi rice
  • half of bunch inexperienced onions, chopped

Instructions :

  • Place shrimp in a huge bowl of cold water till thawed, 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Melt 1/2 cup butter in a microwave-secure glass or ceramic bowl within the microwave in 15-2d periods, 30 seconds to at least one minute. Mix in garlic and half of the lemon juice.

Notes :

  • You can maintain the tails on the shrimp if preferred.
