  • 1 pound dry kidney beans

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 teaspoons garam masala
  • 2 teaspoons floor coriander
  • half of teaspoon purple chile powder
  • 1/four teaspoon heeng (asafoetida powder)
  • 2 teaspoons curd (simple yogurt)
  • 2 sprigs fresh cilantro, leaves finely chopped

Instructions :

  • Place kidney beans into a big box and cowl with several inches of cool water; permit stand 8 hours to overnight. Drain and rinse kidney beans.
